Taitteinen Taifuuni

The Taitteinen organic cotton satin shorts have a relaxed fit, wide trouser legs and they feature the Taifuuni pattern. The product contains 2% elastane. The shorts have side seam pockets and an elastic waistband that is sewn onto the inside with short vertical stitches.

Designed by Maija Isola, Taifuuni (typhoon) belonged originally to a series of patterns based on photographs depicting parts of the human body. The starting point for the Taifuuni pattern was the curve of the shoulder. The model for the photographs was the designer’s daughter.
